fishing report Oct 9

Post by dpnoll » Wed Oct 09, 2019 4:42 pm

I went out today south of I90. The wind was problematic and I spent a fair amount of times in the weeds when I didn't calculate the wind correctly. Everything I caught was in shallow water in the sun. I caught everything on a small hopper. The bonus for the day was a Tiger Trout. Gorgeous.

Nice! Good day to get out. I still haven't caught a tiger trout.

I'm fishing with a friend in the Viroqua, Wisc area Sunday and then taking my sister out in SE Mn Tuesday. Every day out trout fishing is a good day.

Very nice catch. I've caught exactly ONE tiger trout in my life. A rare catch indeed.
