Re: Happy Easter

I took a friend out on Saturday. He caught his longest trout to date, then he caught his heaviest, then he broke his longest again. It was a fun day to say the least. We were on marginal at best water and the numbers were low but the quality more than made up for it. I lost what could have been my b...

Re: Rush Creek, MN

I don't mind the lack of plunges or artificial riffle sections. Heck I actually prefer the "slack water" with that said, all of that lower end that has been recently redone was better before they laid a hand on it. I havent fished the Arensfeld section for about 2 years. I can see that producing som...

Re: Stream Condition 4-4

I found fishing was slow both Saturday S. of 90 and Sunday N. of 90. I didn't take a stream temp but the water felt really cold both streams I fished. FWIW

Re: Nice day

And when should I expect the "worm hatch" ? Believe it or not I was wondering about that myself. The frost is mostly out but not totally, so I would say the next warm rain when its warm enough to take the remaining frost out.. I caught fish yesterday that all had a big ball in there bellies. No ide...

Re: Current Stream Conditio 3--28

I was down on the family property yesterday. We own the headwaters section and it was borderline clear. I was down doing some food plot prep and didn't fish. My boys wen't fishing about a mile down stream from where I was and did quite well. My 11 year old was quick to tell me he landed 13 in about ...

Re: Going to try some Social Distancing today

It rained most of the night in Altura on Saturday/Sunday. Streams are high and muddy. I would imagine that by the weekend most everything will be in good shape if we don't get anything more than a light rain here and there.

MB WW hydrograph has receded a lot; I'd be surprised if it were "chocolate milk" at this point. I'm assuming it's more like "slightly turbid" - is that your gauge Cam?
