I made it out today. I had the majority of my success on a black wet fly with a black zebra midge w/ a pink collar as a trailer. Fish ranged from 6"-15"??? The 10" and smaller fish took the zebra midge and the larger fish were after the black wet fly. One of the 14" fish took the zebra midge, always...

I just put an old thermometer we had in the medicine chest with my gear. I will have to play around with this plus it will give me another excuse to fish slow until I get back in shape.

D.A. do you C&R fish that you pump? How hard is that on them?

Where do you take the temp to get the most accurate reading? I would assume toward the middle since the edges would be shallow and heat much faster...
