Water Temps?

I made it out for an hour today. The water was just a little off color. I had a few fish on but could not bring them to hand. I think I am way to rusty need to get out more!

The stream temp was 62-64 degrees. That seems high considering the time of year and the weather we have had.

Thoughts?

Streamer???

I am looking at spending a little more time fishing streamers this year. Other than the wooly bugger, what are 3 must have streamers in your box?

Re: Upcoming Weather Effects

I was talking to a farmer that clams there was still frost present by Lake City last weekend. He said it was about 10" down. Not to say farmers do not stretch the truth every now and then...just like fishermen :D

I have an 8 wt I purchased for using on lakes when I was first getting into fly fishing. It works great for the bass and northern flies I use but as Mr. B said exhausting a fish has come into play a couple of times. I would purchase two separate rods.
