Thanks for info ... Good day today

Thanks to those of you that commented on STREAM CLARITY... Appreciate the local knowledge. My son and I fished south of I-90 today. Thought we would have to move around, but got to the water at 7:00 AM, and didn't run into any other fishers all day long. At the confluence of two tributaries to a mai...

Re: 3-21 Report

TD - Nice to hear about your family. So lucky to have them close. I'm heading out in the morning with my son. He's a teacher with Spring break and who knows when he might be going back. Likely all teaching from home till the end of the school year. Such a change we are all forced to live with. Anywa...

Re: 3/16 Stream Report

I also got out yesterday 3/16. Fished north of I-90 and spent about 5 hours on the water. Flows were strong, slightly foggy, but a good 5 ft of visibility everywhere. Nothing on the surface. Used Orange Scud, Green Midge pattern (lots of takes on this) and even an olive green wooly bugger. Didn't se...

Re: Perfect Weather for Winter Angling

March 1, North of 90, Lovely day. Beautiful day in the park. And good fish too, Green zebra midge 20" below a Stimulator. What a great way to spend a Sunday morning. Very quiet on the stream. Water was Gin Clear.

Tenkara vs. 7' small stream rod

Been thinking about a Tenkara Rod for the spring creeks in the SE. Anyone have an opinion about which is more efficient and utilitarian for the small stream corridors in the SE. Also, if you know Tenkara rods, which brand and vendor would you suggest. Tks.
