Re: Fly Line Repair?

I’d try putting a dab of superglue on the nick to seal it.

Re: streams

Root River Rod Company posted on Facebook that streams are in good shape in the Lanesboro area.

Re: Fishing Report 6/24

Beetles are great. I’ve caught many fish in western WI with foam beetles.

Re: What is it about this year?

Assuming you’re fly fishing, go with heavier nymphs and get deeper. The fish are there, but I think traffic has made them more wary. I’m not a big fan of split shot, but they’ll help you get deeper.

Re: HATCHES

I fished a stream north of 90 today, did well with a gray BH caddis pupa. Caught a solid 18”er. Used my 8’ Divine bamboo rod, which is over 90 years old. Pretty cool.

Re: HATCHES

I fished for a bit yesterday near Lanesboro. I did pretty well with a tan & red San Juan worm until the lightning chased me off the stream.

Check out Frogg Trogg waders. I’ve heard good things about them for the price.

Check out the DNR website for maps of the trout streams in SEMN. A wealth of information. Both Whitewater St Pk and Forestville St Pk have miles of trout streams with easy access. Both are worth investigating.

Welcome aboard. :)

Are you sure a dam is the only possible way to keep the town from being destroyed?
Ironman. Ironman can save the town.
