I got out late this morning and fished through the afternoon. Nice day to be in the valley out of the wind, but there was a stretch or two when the wind messed around with us. Saw one fish rise, about 4 inches from my leader, otherwise not much bug activity. Caught fish on larger midge larva pattern...

If it means getting rid of (trying to, anyway, we're well past the tipping point on it) buckthorn, I'm 100% for it. I liked what the Conservation Corps did with the DNR on some of our streams like you mentioned, Tom.

Supposedly there are 94.5 million cattle in the US as of 2019 of which 1/3th are milk cows. So guess if we want less greenhouse gases we need to stop eating beef?
